Critical Minerals Association, Australia

The Critical Minerals Association is part of an international network established originally in the UK, in support of building an alternate supply chain for global critical minerals. As the global supply chains that depend on critical minerals are often subject to environmental, geopolitical and financial risks, the industry requires forward-thinking and international partnerships to position Australia as a future critical minerals mining and processing powerhouse.

In Australia, the CMA aims to unite the critical minerals industry in addressing its strategic challenges with a single voice - to build a profitable, sustainable and globally recognised sector.

Critical Minerals Association Australia will represent and position the sector to:

  • Capitalise on its natural resource endowments

  • Capture significant value through more of the supply chain

  • Drive thought leadership on environmental, social and governance (ESG) best practice

  • Build robust connections with government and the international critical minerals sector
